KIDS AND YOUNG ADULT LITERATURE FESTIVAL
This Festival brings together some of the best Australian authors and illustrators, publishers, scriptwriters and industry advocates in a celebration of story and the special world of Children's Literature. Melina Marchetta, winner of the Michael L Printz award, will launch the Festival. Fantasy authors Garth Nix, Kate Forsyth, Richard Harland and Jenny Hale explore new horizons. Writers Tohby Riddle, Libby Gleeson and Ursula Dubosarsky reveal the secrets of creating picture books. There's Gabrielle Lord on crime and other wonderful authors including Deborah Abela, Chris Cheng, Laurine Croasdale and James Roy. Discover YA reviewer Angie Schiavone, animator W. "Chewie" Chan, blogger and YA writer William Kostakis, and playwright Caleb Lewis.
