NSW WRITERS' CENTRE COURSES 2010
‘There’s nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and open a vein.’ Walter Wellesley “Red” Smith
For nearly twenty years the New South Wales Writers’ Centre has been doing everything in its power to enable writers to get their next, or their first, manuscript out of their imagination and into print. Now its your turn.
Our second program for 2010 provides you with a range of long and short courses across the world of writing from the craft of being a writer to the art of getting your word onto the page. Our tutors are all active writers, like you, and are passionate about teaching. Within our courses you will find writers of the calibre of Geoffrey Atherden, Hilary Bell, Melina Marcetta, James Roy, Libby Gleeson, Cate Kennedy and Kate Forsyth. Aside from being great writers you will find, as past workshop participants have, that they are also great teachers.
